Innovative Healthcare Today, Training the Physicians of Tomorrow

Continuing Medical Education
The Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience hosts a robust Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, which includes a Grand Rounds Series and a Journal Club. The content is aimed at presenting physicians and researchers with a wide breadth of information to which they might not otherwise be exposed.
- Grand rounds are a staple of continuing medical education, where physicians present often challenging medical problems and their solutions to audiences made up of doctors, residents, and medical students.
- The Journal Club is a gathering where clinicians, researchers, and other interested parties convene to discuss and evaluate recent medical and scientific literature.
UCR has partnered with the Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI) to deliver continuing medical education to mental health care providers throughout the United States.
